well the girlfriend wants to get a atv, she is tired of me and my buddies having all the fun, she wants one with a auto tranny like a polaris but I would like to steer clear of them if I could, was wondering if honda or yamaha makes a auto tranny atv or anyother brand, would like some feed back on what to get her.

I'm with jumbo on this one, the 250ex would be a good beginner quad.

My Fiance was looking at 250EX before she got her 400EX. For the price of a used 250EX she got a used 400EX. Much more room for improvement. Now if she needs auto clutch I have heard there is a company that does make an auto clutch kit for the 400EX.

Yeah all this hype about begginner quads is BS in my opinion. Just get her sumthin she can "GROW" into. So that way after you have master the extremely high top speed of the 250ex lol you wont have to buy again.

Get her a raptor 350 or a z400 cause of the reverse.

People knock the warrior / raptor 350, but I had one for years and they are bulletproof. She would not be disapointed in it at all, that is if she thinks she needs reverse. Otherwise 400ex all the way. Just my $.02

don't start her off with a warrior or 300ex..unless she has ridden with a clutch before?

Buy her a 250ex or a z250...when it gets to old and slow, upgrade to a 300ex...

in my opinion...go with a blaster

easy starter quad and when they seem to get old or boring they can be upgraded soooo easily. i used to have an 80 up until this year when i started riding my blaster and i love the thing even though its completely stock. its lightweight which makes it easy to throw around and getting used to a clutch isnt all that hard at all (only took me a few weeks to get used to) and im only 14
