Went to Waynoka and it ran good for awhile then it started to runs strange. Whenever I get into the powerband it cuts out and wont run for crap. The jetting is dead on, clean air filter, everything the same, just runs rough. Is it possible a reed broke or something? Any help would be great. Its a '88 with LRD pipe, 38mm A/S and boysen reed in stock cage.

Try a new spark plug.

for that stator problem, drill a small hole in the cover, take a grease zerk, pull the ball and spring seal out, and thread it in

There are MANY things that will cause your bike to run like crap.

It could be a jetting issue. How do you know that the jetting is dead on? Or, it is possible a bit of dirt got into the carb and is plugging the jet.

Spark plug, compression problem, or the problem could be in the spark plug wire. Or your stator, as mentioned. You could have an airleak somewhere in your intake. Or the reeds. You have to check everything.
