best quad

What's the best? I'm looking to sell my 250ex, and get a biggger quad. I've always been a true Honda fan, so I'm leaning towards either a 400ex or a 450r. I'm also looking at the z, and yfz. I know its a big jump, from a 250 to any of these, but i think i can handle it. I plan to ride trails, but i recently rode on a track and I LOVE IT! I plan on riding more track, and maybe racing. I don't want to put on many parts, so i'd like to have something I wont have to put stuff on. Money is not too big of an issue, but still......

450r or YFZ...ride them both first..i preferred the honda

I rode them both and chose the Yamaha

If ur going stright to racing, buy a YZF, if your doing a little bit of everything, buy and R. But dont ask what other ppl think, ride them yourself..

i rode all 4 of them that you mentioned and like the yfz the best... thats the one i bought :D

I never rode the Honda but i chose the yfz...not sure why, just because people said the 450r was better for trails...

i never rode the yfz until after i bought mine. they are different but i still like my R. i have always ridden honda. i will probably always ride a honda.

I rode a YFZ, but never rode a 450R......i chose the 450r because i had confidence in it that it would be a good quad. and its a HONDA.

Things you might want to consider between those 4 quads:

Do you need reverse?
Do you need electric start?

Bottom line is if you're going to do any racing the 450's are the way to go.
