problem - 400ex carb

400 ex carbs pours gas out the overflow line> I took the carb apart, sprayed a bunch of carb cleaner on the floats and where they mount up to rest of the carburator (because i thought maybe the floats were just sticking) and it did nothing. Any other things to try? This is on a friends fourwheeler but we are all going riding today and he is bummed he cant. Thanks

my friends did the same thing... we had to take it to the dealership for them to adjust the float...

thanks tommy. Is there anyone out there with any other advice though. See, he let me borrow it, and i didnt even ride it, because it was filthy so i just washed it up real good, and when i went to give it back, and then it did that, so i thought "no biggy" ill just clean it out its just stuck floats, but that didnt work. I dont really want to take it to the stealership either. Please help...

you could try blowing and cleaing the carb and all the hoses coming off the carb. however, it may be the float.
