rings gapped too much..

Ok I have a question.....i had the guy who bore my cylinder gap my rings for me and he gapped them way too high....like .017 on the to and .037 on the middle ring......i did the calculations and it says to gap them at .004 on top and .005 on middle x the cylinder inches so that was 3.4223 that would be around .013 and .017.......what should i do? put them in or order a new set?

well i have two 400ex's so i order two pistons so i had an extra set that i gapped myself but i still have another motor to do..i'm taking the jug to him next week off the other one...i think he did an ok job on the bore but for some odd reason he gapped the **** out of the rings.....i think he should give me back my $20 and buy me a new set of rings:mad: but i'm not gonna piss and moune about it, he seems like a good guy....i'll just order a new set from C&D. and gap them myself next time.
