I would be getting really mad. To bad we dont have any motor builders that can do it in like a week or so. You would think with no mistakes it would take a motor a day.

I don`t think there is any Engine Builder out there can Build a Motor in a Week. They are all backed up.

DAmn pro racers get your own shop to build motors.

When it comes to Chassis, Shocks, and Engine Builders, the Pro`s are First. If Laeger, Roll, and Walsh are a Year Behind, then how did Tim Farr get all his Laeger Frames? He`s a Pro, that`s How. All of the Shops take care of the Pro`s First.

If they were just fitting a new piston in it would be possible to do it in a day...but the porting is like 15-20 hours of work I think....then doing the stroking, welding up the crank if they replace the rod, and so on...

NACS I don`t think the Tim Farr thing would Work. I bet they have something that tells the Company they really are the Pro`s. I don`t know. Farr gets all his Shocks from Baldwin.

It takes 15-20 Hours to Port? Man a Guy that we know said it took Four Hours. I`m not sure though.

Damn i think me and you should get together and design a real porting machine that will do it in minutes and everything else.

If the pros were not n the front of the line to get products, those pros would not use those products and people like (NAcs400)you would not be wanting there products by saying"the pros have it , so I want it"

Yeah the Pro`s are Lucky. James is right. If the Pro`s couldn`t Run that Stuff, not many of us would no about PEP or any other Big Brand because we all see the Pro`s running them.

I know thats what i was going to say right before my competer went cututer. But i think he is right but still pros dont run elka yet and we still want them.

Well NACS has a Point. The Pro`s do not Run Elka and I am getting them.

The reason westill want Elka shocks is because we arnt pros and dont need the top brand.

Porting a motor does NOT TAKE 15-20 HOURS! If it did you would pay way more than 300 for a port job! It takes about 4 hours for a good port job i belive. If the motor builders were not backed up to **** they would be able to have a week turnaround. I got my motor back in 2 weeks. Would of had it in a week but the parts take time to come in.

The shops due take care of the pros first. There isnt nothnig wrong with that. The Pros are SPONSERED!

I wasnt sure on how long it took to port..thats just what I heard...so for a full race port and polish it only takes 4 hours? wow...thats a little surprising..
