Off topic but... Ahhh... you are going to tear up a good 86 ATC250R ? Those things bring pretty good money out here in Southern California. They are usually the fastest things in the hills at Glamis, short of a big buck quad... try selling if first. just my opinion.

It's a roller rite now,and the motor is in a box. It's not for sale.I'm want to build the best 4 stroke trike money can buy:cool: .It's to bad I don't have much cash to work with:D

Just curious on this.. are you going to put a yz motor in a 250r ATC frame and keep it a 3 wheeler or make it into a quad using one of those ugly *** conversion kits? Another thing is that a yzf motor is alot heavier than a 250r motor. And lastly you can pack a huge punch with a 250r based stroker(310,330,350,350PV, 370PV, PSI 425) or a pilot cylinder with a 250r bottom end(400cc ). Any of those combos would smoke a yzf motor.

R3 your way off.I'm going to put a crf450 motor on an 86 atc frame. And I'm going to keep it a 3 wheeler, just because I'm a trike rider.I have no need for the extra training wheel.LoL.I just want to make a nice 1 of a kind 4 stroke trike.

Sorry about being "way off". Its going to be a fun job for you. Its still going to be easier to pump the cash into a 250r based motor. IMO and it'll be a whole lot faster.
