Question about trading in 400ex

I was wanting to trade my 03 400ex in on a 450r.How does the dealership go about doing that.Is it possible for me to do that?I believe i owe 3400.oo on the quad.Just wondering????Thanks

If I were you I would sell it outright then buy a 450r. ;)

juice you are kinda caught in a 'catch 22' here. First off I doubt that any dealer would give you what you owe on you 400...$3400. Then since they will not pay it off so to speak, you would still owe on that quad.....besides, trade-ins will rape you something fierce!:grr:

Selling it outright is the best way to go. Pay off what you owe, then start new with a new 450R!:devil:

try to sell it for $3400...you will ghet alot of calls for $3000 cash & take it...makes them feel like theyu are getting a real good deal. thats what I did & sold it a few days later in wheels & deals & bought my 450r after someone sold the cannondale I wanted :cuss: :cuss: j/k..i think i did better with the 450r
