Yeah i heard about limewire for downloading music. I was wondering is it legal? Let me know anything you know about.

i had both of them a while ago and they dumped bunches of spyware on my puter and bogged it down real bad. i suggest you dont put that stuff on your puter at all ur asking for trouble, and it is not legal to do either one. most people around here go through icq or some of the other chat sites, that supposedly is legal. not sure on that.ed

HAHA i think i rember you from the chat! Well i guess i wont take no chances. I will just get my friend to bring his computer over and download some songs from kazaa and send them to me on aim. HE wont get caught with kazaa he has his mip block,disabled sharing,and his teacher at his college has hooked him up so he wont ever get caught so he's good. O by the way he's goign to school for working on computer.

Its illegal if you live in the USA, so... sucks for you :P but Canada's still all free, so unless your a US citizen, dont worry bout it, and even if i was in the usa, id still lbe dlin, its what keeps the internet going..

there are sites that u can download music leagaly and you only pay for the songs you want, like .99 cents each....

The only music that is even easy to download on those sites are the most popular songs out. Any other ones by bands with not much money are a pain to download.

In other words, the music being downloaded is by artists that already have more money than they need. God forbid they loose a million dollars out of the 20 they are making due to the internet. CD's are 15$ and up now. I dont have the money for that.

Since when was it decided that musicians should make millions of dollars instead of a regular pay?

Go use winmx and buy a powerball ticket. Because you have about the same chance of getting caught as you do winning powerball with the millions of people that download. They cant stop downloading files. If they close one place down, another will be created. I wish they would stop crying about it.

If they want to press charges against me for downloading a couple songs while i live in a bummy quadraplex with two other people while Metallica sits in their multi million dollar homes... **** them.
Metallica blames the downloading on them not making much money on the last album. They need to just realize that the album sucked.

Thats my 2 cents on the whole downloading thing anyways.

there are more sites starting to offer this. also there are companys like pepsi that offer one free song with purchase of a 20oz or something. also mcdonalds is doing it with there big mac. i wouldn't download limewire, to much spyware. if you want one winmx is the way to go.

Thats what im using, its the greatest, limewire is garbage. Have fun with the adware you ppl will pick up threw limewire, i may say there isnt any, but look hard, ull find it.

I have been using that for over a year now, and have had no problems. They try charging you to download the new one, and say its "legal" but its not. Its tied in with the same network as all of the older Kazaa lites, so I don't see how it "legal"
