it would look pretty darn nice if you ask me. my '95 dakota has one on it. nice chrome one that bolts to the bed rails. its got two KC offroad lights on top of it. the nice thing about it being on the bed rails is it leaves the bed open for hauling stuff.

thats a pretty good idea about attaching to the bed rails. i am in the process of buying a car so i don't know if i will have any extra money. but if i do i was thinking about getting one.

yea id do it, roll bars look good on just about any truck. i wanted one a time ago but didnt have the money so i had a muffler shop bend one up for me out of exhaust pipe, was pretty trick, but ya have to paint it right away before it rust's. and wife the oil off it first!:blah: ed

I'm wondering if you were just triing to guess what the HP is on your stroker? I'm sure that much power can be made from a smallblock but you would have to be one hell of an engine builder with very deep pockets!:eek2:

thats why i asked if he had a blower or nos. but even nos wouldn't give that many horses but a blower could depending on what else was done.

My uncle built a 383 stroker for his 69 Z-28, it had about 490hp at the flywheel plus 150hp nos, so around 650hp. That thing would rip.

to get back on topic, does anyone know the cheapest place to purchase roll bars, or would the cheapest route be to have an exhaust shop bend you one?
