Confusion about shocks

I was wondering which of these 2 shocks are better:

Elka Front Shocks, Triple Rate Remote Reservoir Compression & Rebound

or

Elka Front Shocks, Triple Rate Remote Resevoir Compression (H/L)

And what does the (H/L) stand for on the second on. I got these descriptions from :

The H/L means that that those shocks have seaprate High and Low speed compression adjusments...
