wed nite just traded in my 2003 400ex and got the new 450 im pumped !!!! break in is 2 tanks? then change oil ? any helpfull hints guys? tyvm had to tell someone...lmao

on your 400ex break in brand new I would of felt comfortable with break in 2 tanks of gas due to it taking more oil at 1.86 quarts or something but the 450r only takes about 0.86 of a quart so I felt comfortable changine oil filter & oil after 1 tank of gas. Then on the next doing the same. then every 3 tanks of gas I change the oil & oil filter now. I'm sure if you changed it after 2 tanks of gas you would still be fine but I was extra safe & changed it after the 1st one...have fun riding her..;)
