I have found a problem where my front shock is mounted to the lower a-arm. It pops whenever I pull up on the tire. If I try to take off the shock from the lower A-arm will it spring out of do anything crazy?!? I think I have to change the bushing on the bottom of the shock.

To avoid a "Jack in the Box" situation, I recommend having the front end off the ground when you remove the shock. If you leave it on the ground and remove it, the unsprung portion of the shock may shoot itself out once you pull it away from the chassis. It sounds like you have a little slop between the bushing and the bolt. Good luck.

I just changed my front shocks. No jack in the box, no springs in the peanut can, nothing. Unbolt them, pull up a tad on the front bumper, and they come right out.

It sounds like you have a worn bushing.
