I have a stock 1992 Honda 250x. The idle adjustment knob is on the right front side of the carb and the fuel screw is on the left front side of the carb. The question is, there is another brass looking adjustment screw on the left side of the float bowl near its top. Does anybody know what this is for?

if you turn it the gas in the bowl will drain out thru the vent tube.;)

I'm not exactly sure which screw you are talking about (I'd have to go look at my carb) but I think lukester is correct. I DO know for a fact (because I have a 250X) that there is an idle speed screw, a fuel screw, and a drain screw. If you have identified the first two, then the third must be the drain screw. It is very useful for draining the carb when you have a little water in your fuel, or when you are jetting, because you can just drain the carb and change the jet without removing the entire carb and float bowl.

On a side note, where in Nevada are you?
