ESR has great prices and great service. I've been extremely happy with them...

the pv that lrd and esr sell r basicly the same they are made from la sleave cly but duncan and prodesign make the one they sell

I think the LRD kit uses a different cylinder than the ESR completely (not 100% sure though). It definately uses a different PV mechanism:

Esr machines their own powervalve part (the billet). You don't have to use an outerwears on it :rolleyes:

I run the Gncc 2stokeC class on a LRD 350PV motor. BigBore is alot more maint. If i had to do over i would go smaller but def. with the LRD PV setup. I agree with people their service could be a little better, but their product is worth it.

I am pretty sure most of the cylinders are the same, but the powervalve assemblies differ, I know CT now has a sealed billet version rather than the RAVE valve used from the watercraft engines. However the porting will also have an effect. I say go with Baldwin or LRD. I'd say Sparks, but he's done w/ 2 strokes.
