what is going on?

ok....I got 400 ex #2 and I want to know what the heck is wrong with it.....I am getting a spark....and getting fuel however the engine isnt firing....can anyone tell me what is going on?

well you see.....changing the plug has no effect on the outcome of the machine starting....and ex #2 means I got my second 400 ex.....

changing the plug on my bike helps if it is old or bad. also, make sure it isn't flooded, the gas is on, the run switch is on and the choke lever is on if you normally use it.

I had a similar problem with my old 400.It had spark,gas delivery,good compression and we changed the plug.I swapped all the electical from a different 400 and still it wouldn't fire.We even tried swapping out the cylinder and piston and valve train,still it wouldn't start.Turns out(after I went out and bought a new 400)that the starter gear was not disingaging.
