I am currently rebuilding the top end of my 400ex...I am putting in a JE 416 piston with a hotcam stage 2. I have limited experience with engine overhauls and would really appreciate if someone could help me with the installation instructions for the cam and how to make sure your on the right track. I have looked for a manual at the dealerships and could not find one. My EX is torn apart now and I need the help ASAP. If anyone has anything that would help I would really appreciate it.

Well thanks for trying anyway. There isn't a way you can just post part of the manual? I have a program thats called PDF Edit that allows me to make anything into a PDF file.

I downloaded and installed a FTP server to fun on my local laptop. All that is left is figuring out the WAN address. I know the IP, but not the rest of the url.

Hey guys,

Does anyone have the PDF manual that I can get. I have some stuff that I want to do this week while I am on Vacation so that i can go to the Dunes this weekend. I ordered one from the local honda dealership, but they said it takes 3 weeks.

If you are still looking for a EX manual there is a website that you can become a member of that has them. Go to:

www.roostingthedunes.com

and register (its free) then you can go to a topic that has service manuals. I found this out after I originally posted this topic.

The manual is exactly the same as you would get from those online auctions for $5 only this one is free. But it takes about 2 1/2 hours to download and that is with a broadband connection.
