Got a new swingarm, shock question

I have been running a raptor shock with my stock swingarm on a 250x. I just bought a Burgard +2 swingarm and i will be keeping my raptor shock.

Do I need to stiffen up the spring? Or what do I do?

You will most likely need to have your shock revalved/resprung to match your swingarm. Using the raptor springs may help but it still may be too soft.

you'll probably be fine with just adjusting your spring..for temporary atleast until you can get it revalved

You will need to get it resprung and revalved. You MAY be able to get away with it for now, but it will be hella soft. On my bike Wayne from PEP said for me to put an extended swingarm on even if I didnt get it revalved right away since that is a MANDATORY mod for a 400ex with a built motor. He told me it would be soft but that I could adjust it to a certain degree. I just went ahead and got a revalve since I demand alot from my suspension and handling at race speeds...
