usually what i do is get it in first and pull up on the bars a little bit and hit te gas at the same time. find ur balance point and put it in second, once u get comfortable in second try puttin it in third.

No one here can teach you how to wheelie, u gotta take ur balls outa ur purse and try it yourself, there more than 1 way to wheelie, find out yourself and then ull find the most comfortable way to do it.

SIT ON THE BACK OF THE SEAT
HIT THE GAS TILL YOU CANT SEE OVER THE HANDLE BARS AND THEN STEADY THE GAS ABOUT 30% THROTTLE.
KEEP YOUR FOOT NEAR THE BRAKE JUST IN CASE.
PIECE OF CAKE WHEN YOU GET OVER THE FEAR OF HITTING THE GRAB BAR.

the way i learned to ride a wheelie was to put one foot in the grab bar. it puts more wait in the back and you can stand it up easier. you can also ride a wheelie longer and higher this way. if your afraid of tipping the 4 wheeler back on u dont be the grab bar will keep it from tipping over.

The thing i need help with is doing a 1 wheel wheelie???????????

One wheeled wheelies are really easy! First off you have to know how to bicycle (ride on one front tire and one back) If you have never done this before, what i do is stand and say turn left but and instead of leaning in i lean the wrong way and give it a lil gas, you should get up on a front and back tire.... once you get it up you can sit down and ride like that.. once you get balanced just floor it or whatever like you would to wheelie normally in 1st gear... You can also do this in other gears but it is easiest in 1st

alright thanks i do know how to bicycle so i will try it that way. what i was trying to do was do a wheelie then cut the wheel to my left. i would get it on one wheel but i would just tip it over every time

the thing about that is if hit the grab bar really hard it wont break the grab bar but your frame will feel it:eek:

Ok here is what you do. if you want to ride a controlled long wheelie. It will take practice but I don't care what anybody says this is the way. the easiest wheelie to learn is the knee in the seat. put it in first and then put your left knee up in the seat. make sure to keep your right leg down on the peg so you can use your back brake. Get going real slow then pull the clutch in and feather the throttle then dump the clutch. don't give it to much gas at first until you find out how much you need to bring the atv to its balance point. once you find the balance point you can feather the throttle to keep it up. if it starts to come back to far hit the rear brake a little and it will bring back down. practice and you will be great grasshopper.

i tought my self (the bad way) have it n first pull the clutch in and shift to 2nd an then drop the clutch but that was wen i was a skinny lil wimp now i just pull and get it up and standen on the bak bar helps u can start n 3 and some times 4 that way but dont have it stoped n 3rd n then take off its bad on ur bike n u wont have much torqe so go fisrt n then secend so ur moven then put ur foot on the bar and shift to 3rd n pull it up easy as cake keep a foot on ur brake *dont be scared to stand it up just fether the brake for it to go down(dont slam them from fear u will go over the bars been there done that)lol* n then figure out like no footed can wheelies n bar hops n one handers n the works
that just my s cents

sry bout the long post:rolleyes:

I have to try not to wheelie my 300ex.. it seems like these things are the wheelie machines!!!

what i do to ride a long one, is usually get cruzing in 3rd, like mid rpm range in 3rd, lean forward then back and hit the gas, front end comes up easy, sit down and just play back n forth between the gas and rear brake to keep it up

so yeah basically just keep that foot on the brake and that thum on the throttle you go back alot and not hang them alot its all about balance and being smooth and knowing your quad and just do it every day all day and you'll be like a pro sooner or later you'll be able to sit down then stand then flamingo wile going through the gears and bring it back down to first with out letting thos wheels hit the ground. and be able to ride any gear u want for how ever long u want. just work hard you get it its all nuts and instinked theres no right or wrong way to pull or hang a wheelie as long as thos tires are off the ground
