You didn't say where in Michigan you're located so here's a few.

ALLEN MOTOCROSS
The 3/4-mile track is built on family property. The course has sections of sand and hardpack and covers rolling hills. The popular jumps include two downhill leaps and a 70-foot triple. Open daily for practice. Nearest town: Standish. Contact: (517) 873-5259.

BAJA ACRES
Baja Acres runs twice a month (with one weekly practice). Dense sand fills most of the 1-3/4 mile course, with some sections of hardpack. Theres a 70-foot table, big sand hill, huge whoops and a ski jump. Nearest town: Frankenmuth. Contact: (517) 871-3356.

MOTORCYCLE CLUB
The 1-1/2 mile Battle Creek circuit offers a mix of hardpack and loamy soil. Three races are run yearly and the track is open daily to members. Nearest town: Battle Creek. Contact: (616) 965-0935 or (616) 964-0778.

BAY RACING/LITTLE VALLEY MOTOCROSS PARK
Two races a month and weekly practice are held on the one-mile motocross and 50cc tracks. The loamy-sand course has hills, a 90-foot ski jump, an 80-foot gravity cavity and two 65-foot triple jumps. Nearest town: Kingsley. Contact: (231) 263-2366.

BIG AIR MOTOCROSS
A jump-filled, 1-1/2 mile track, Big Air features a 115-foot triple. Sections of sand and hardpack fill the course. There is also a mini track. Up to two races and four practice days are scheduled each month. Nearest town: Newaygo. Contact: (231) 652-2468 or (231) 652-7321.

BULLDOGS MC
MOTOCROSS PARK
Open daily to members, Bulldogs races five times a year. Deep, tacky sand covers the 1-1/2 mile circuit. The rolling terrain provides some climbs, but is best known for becoming whooped out. Nearest town: Millington. Contact: (517) 871-3899.

CADILLAC MOTORCYCLE
CLUB MOTOPLEX
A 50/50 mix of supercross and motocross, the 1-1/4 mile Cadillac track has jumps in the 75-foot range. There are six races a year and daily practice is available on the main and 50cc tracks. Nearest town: Cadillac. Contact: (231) 775-1043 or (231) 775-7014.

DUTCH SPORT PARK
Running 12 weekend events and three open practices a year, Dutch has separate motocross and Pee-Wee tracks. Sand has been dumped on the mostly packed clay. Jumps are up to 100 feet. Nearest town: Kalamazoo. Contact: (616) 521-7800 or (616) 683-4418.

LOG ROAD MX
A 1-1/2 mile, gravely-sand course with golf ball-size rocks. Covering rolling hills, the circuit is a 50/50 mix of supercross and motocross. Three 85- to 95-foot triples are offered. Nearest town: Bronson. Contact: (419) 636-5430.

M-40 MOTOPLEX

MILAN CYCLE CITY

IN THE HILLS

MIDLANDS TRACK

MOTORSPORTS ARENA

REPUBLIC MOTOCROSS
