cannondale shocks on a 400ex

will cannondale front shocks work on a 400ex. i am thinking about getting some of the ohlins shocks that came stock on the cannondale. i can get them pretty cheap. are these even any better than the stock shocks that came on the 400ex?

Buy some shocks made for the 400ex...;)

It will work but the stroke is too short and valving and spring rates are wrong.

I ran the Ohlins on my EX. I had the older rebuildable no rez shocks. I had to make up some new shock bushings, other than that they were perfect. Al Carr from ReActive suspension hooked them up for me. I used these shocks to run the stock class in the GNCC races and they worked fine.
