I think under most people's definitions, the act of "cheating" involves deciet. It goes far beyond the textbook dictionary definition of "sex with someone other than your spouse" By the very nature of "cheating" it involves moral issues and feelings of betrayal.

I say if your spouse is along for the ride, than he/she obviously is not having feelings of betrayal, thus, it would not be cheating.
