How much were those front Elkas, and how much lower did it make the bike sit? I'm pondering on whether to get them or not?

I have the same elka's on my quad and yes they do make your bike sit a lot lower. That is the whole point to zps (zero preload). They are great shocks and make cornering much easier. My bike handles like a dream with them.

Thanks fellas!

I didnt have quite the cash flow for the quadruple (cant spell) rate Elkas....these work great for me anyways!

I paid $865 for the shocks. I had PEPs ordered but Wayne is dragging his feet on customer stuff so I dropped my order and had these shocks in my hands in 12 days!

They did drop the whole quad down quite a bit, especially in the front end. The rear shock is still stock and I havent let all the preload out yet, still a couple threads left. So it sets higher in the rear right now but it works great.

Yeah, handling is 10X better, especially in the corners. I can fly into corners and wait longer to brake, not worry about the quad tipping. Stays planted through the corner. I love it!

Thanks again fellas!

Thanks bro!

Yeah, they are PRP/TRC....whatever! Heh. I got them from JH Racing here in Oklahoma, he can get a set for ya still I think. I'm really happy with them right now. They were $520 or $525, one of the two.

how do you like that sparks pipe? been looking at that pipe more and more but want some feedback on it first by someone who has it.

I love it! Great power gain on the bottom end and mid range. 2nd - 4th rips now! And of course, ya get that great Sparks sound also. I'm gonna throw in a sparks cam probably to go with it to round out the motor. Its an excellent choice if ya go with Sparks. Installation was a breeze and jetting was easy. I just put a 190 main in and turned the air/fuel mix screw out 2 turns. Runs great and pulls holeshots consistently.
