It looks like Racer Productions decided to go back to Sparta this year on Sept 11th and 12th for bikes and quads. From what I understand, there will be another throwout added for one reason or another.
Bikes will race on saturday and quads will race on sunday for a change.

Which track?

is this for real? why would the quads race again if we already had our race there?

the mud and ruts were bad enough the first time. are they hoping to stick us in the KY dust this time?

guess that will make you happy Jeff!

My guess would be that they would loose money just running the bikes.

HELL YEAH! by far the best tracks on the series IMO

God forbid they loose any money!

Just an estimate.

Sat.
1,000 Fans+racers x $10.00 gate fee =$10,000.00
800 Racers x $40.00 race fee =$32,000.00

Sun.
1,000 Fans+racers x $10.00 gate fee =$10,000.00
800 Racers x $40.00 race fee =$32,000.00

$84,000.00 is hard to believe they loose any money
times 14 races. Maybe 10 percent is overhead,pro purses,land fee,travel,employee expenses,equipment costs.

Thats good and bad news. Bad news because there is an SOCC race sept. 11th. But if bikes are saturday, I can go saturday and race and be back sunday to run the SOCC at Uncle Bills.

I don't think it is fair to add another point's race to the quads. Originally it was going to be an outlaw race, but they figured no one would show up unless they offered some points.

They should just race the bikes and cut their losses.

i agree with bonnie.

those who are towards the top of their class in points (and im not one of them) could be penalized because they have consistent finishes while others have had dnfs. there are already 14 races this year with 5 throw-aways.

also it means we have to shell out more money in traveling, entry, and parts. i know this is an extreme circumstance, but adding a race in the middle of the season isnt right.

just race the bikes.

I hope that they don't offer points to the quads. I have been to all of the races and I finished 2nd at the sparta race. We all know how bad the conditions were. I hate to think that I road there and finished well to have it taken away. With the points being tallied this far I think that It would be a mistake to add another throw away.this late into the season.

I think it is great that they are going to add another race. I hope they run the track they ran last year, it was a lot of fun. If you other guys don't like that they are adding another race I guess you don't have to go.

I hope they just let the bikes race it as a make-up for one reason and one reason only. I don't want to have to recalculate the national numbers to reflect 6 throw away races.

If they do add it then I say bump up the number of races that count towards class points and national numbers. I feel 6 throw aways in your class and 3 overalls is too many and not far to the consistant racers.

If they do add it I will be there, since it is one of my favorite tracks.

The first page is no problem, it's the chapter past the first lap that seems to be the hang up.

Some people like yourself, will never be able to ride hard enough to smoke a motor. Just stay in the slow lane junior, and no one will get hurt.
