I don't really ride to much in the winter. So I was wondering what I need to do to it if i'm planing on letting it sit for a little while. Should I do things like drain the float bowl? Are there any product for this type of thing?

if your gonna let sit for a while....
-drain the oil
-turn the gas switch off...and run the quad untill it cuts off...this will use all the gas out of the carb.

why would you drain the oil? that will just cause your motor to dry up, and parts could corrode, and rust up.. I would just change the oil before you rode it again

they make some sort of additive for your gas that you run through your bike and it is supposed to get it ready to sit for a while.

Change your oil. drain your gas tank. Take out your spark plug spray some wd-40 in there. put plug back in. Spray entire bike down with wd-40.and put it on blocks to keep the tires from dry-rotting.

I store mine all winter also...

All you need to do is clean it good.
Change your oil, empty the gas out of the tank.. all you need to do to empty the carb is turn the little screw on the side where the choke is..
WD40 all the metal
I put mine on wood blocks so the tires dont go flat or get creases on one side..

Hope that helps.

Maybe by 'Hypernation' he means getting his quad hyped up for monster jumps :devil
I think he means hibernation.....

Why would you empty the gas tank? Shouldnt you fill it up all the way because if you empty it moisture will build up in it? I could be wrong just wanna make sure.

Thanks:square

fill the gas tank up, add the appropriate amount of sta-bil (available at parts stores).. run the bike for 10-15 minutes to make sure it get's into the carb float bowl..

change the oil..

if your really paranoid you can pull the sparkplug, but a few drops of motor oil in, and turn the motor over a few times.. don't use WD40..
