Durablue rear ex hubs...has my ex lost an inch or so in width?

Before taking off for a ride with a buddy, I noticed my EX looked somewhat more narrow than his (total rear width)

We both had Razor 2's so that rules out the issue of illusion...both have stock rear axles. I have Douglas Beads and he is running stock rims.

Throwing a quick tape to the quads it looked like he had about 1.25 to 1.50" of total rear width over me.

Has installing the Durablue hubs cut my rear width...?:confused:

yes, The dura blue hubs are flat instead of cone shaped like the stockers and it cuts a good bit of width off.
