My brothers new 450R

I picked it up for him on saturday. He sends it back to Alba forthe pipe, bars, intake and dyno tuning in a couple weeks. Pretty nice. Now he is going to have to try and keep up with me on my YFZ. ha ha ha j/k. Very nice bikes.

I love my YFZ. But I have said from the beginning, if the honda was out, I would of owned one of them. They really are nice bikes either way. You can't go wrong with the 450R or the YFZ. Oh and by the way. I love the alba graphics kit.

I picked my 450r from Alba too! Last wednesday. Where are you in San Diego? I'm in Mira Mesa!!!

I can't wait for the pipe to be finished.. I bought the Alba package too. The thing already flies.... i can't imagine it with intake and exhaust as well.

Also, as others have posted on this board. Tighten and/loctite those allen-head fasteners that hold the heatshield to the pipe. They can rattle off... I lost the middle one in Ocotillo last Friday. Yeah, that'll be gone when I get the Alba pipe... but still..

By the way, what did you pay OTD?

I live in Kenzington. This is my brothers bike. He lives in El Cajon. He went over and greased and tightened everything the minute he brought it home. I am not sure exactly what he paid, but I think it was around $8,000.00. Well worth it I think. I paid $8,500.00 for my YFZ when they came out, and I didn't get any cool stuff with it.ha ha. I had to pay the extra $1,000.00 just to get what he got included with his total price.

We are probably gonna go riding after I get my YFZ back. If you want, feel free to come with us. Just shoot me a PM , or I'll pm you. We have a family friend who has 200 acres up by lake morena with trails and stuff. Should be fun. Maybe in 2 or 3 weeks. I'll let you know.

yeah i lost my heat shield after the first ten minutes of ridding mine. i had to go get all new screws cause they all fell out and then when i thought i had them all locked down, i lost another. oh well, i took flat black hi-temp paint and painted mine. it turned out really good. after ridding all week at the dunes it started to scuff up but i figured that. nice bike, must be nice to have the 2 best quads out right now at your fingertips.:D keep it real homies.
