400 carb on a 300ex

will this carb work well with a 330 kit. u can get them cheap and i know some people on here have done it. what about jetting?

YEP I think this carb does great w/ a rebuild, I just got done doing mine & put a 400 carb on it w/ 142 pilot, & 150 main not sure about the fuel/air screw didn't really mess w/ it at all. I haven't had any issues w/ it at all, didn't even have any fine tuning to do, it is a little harder to start just like the 400 prretty much. WEnt out this weekend for my 2nd ride w/ it & the goodies & it was keeping up nice w/ 400's :D :macho & I don't even have my big jug on yet :devil: :blah: can't wait to see what it'll do w/ that!! You don't need to buy a 350x air boot either, i just put the end of mine in a pan of boiling water for a couple seconds then put it onthe carb & it's on right & tight :) if it held up threw all the rocks & bumps this weekend it'll hold up thru anything ;)
