not really. i am looking into getting a slip on for it and hopefully that will open in up a lil. though i know it won't do that much. i am sure running a k&n can't hurt. how are you liking the muddlites? much better than stock?

my buddy has a K&N with outerwear and a HMF pipe. he likes the setup but i don't think it gave him much of anything. he also jetted the carb. i don't remember for sure what size, but he went up a few sizes on the main and raised his needle one position.

cals400ex, you think you could find out what size he went up to. that would be a big help. i want to get an exhaust because i am tired of the weak sound, especially after i ride on my 400ex with an eseries. i don't want anything real loud. just a little more thump.

u will notice zero difference from a K&n on a utility...maybe on a dyno it may perform a LITLLE better but thats about it...I think the exhaust on a utility would be the same...if you think it added anything its probably in your head...am i right?
