I just replaced my front sproket , and about a half hour into riding it started to sqweek real bad . I sprayed it with chain lube it stopped for about ten minutes and started again.all I did was take the plastic cover off remove 2 screws and pulled it off.and put the new one on. It look slike it rubs on the guide at least I think its the guide the gold colored piece what do you think it is???

is it a 13 tooth sprocket? if its a 14, you should take that stock case saver off

It is a 14 tooth, are you talking about the plastic piece or the gold piece on the inside . I sounds like its rubbing on the something metal Im not sure.

Yes they do have a factory case saver and you have to remove it or grind it down to run a 14 tooth sprocket.

Yes I'm sure. It's right behind the chain guard.

i'm talking about the gold piece, it needs to be taken off, or grinded down a tad
