Anyone done this before? I just put my EX together and it makes this awfull ticking in the head. The valves are good, I am thinking my auto-decomp bit the dust. Is it an easy job or is it gonna be a pain in the arse?

it has to be pressed off. But other than that it's not hard. Never heard of one going bad though. But what do I know.

I think I rotated the timing bolt the wrong way and messed it up, this is the first time I have messed with a thumper. At TDC my right exhaust valve is tight so I am assuming it is the problem.

Thats what mine was doing when I installed my new cam. The new cam came with the decompressor on when it shouldn't have, and I couldn't set that valve.

I would turn over the engine by hand and you could hear the decompressor click everyother turn
