Well a stock blaster runs 52...and the 250ex was quite a bit slower than it...

50mph is fast enough for any trails I ride..

If you wanna cruise the streets, get yourself a crotch rocket

you can get 300exs to wake up with some mods.....im workig on them.....but with a pipe jet kit and when its not muddy dont run an air box lid.....helps a little bit:D

50 sounds right BUT if you read the manual it said the 300ex will only go 40.
BUT the manual also states that this atv should not weely or climb hills

BUT EXRIDERS DONT READ OR LISEN TO MANUALS SO I DONT CARE

i was riding beside and 660 grizzly and we both floored it and i was ahead of him alil bit and he was goin 59 plus i weigh like 255lbs and i had 20 inch tires on it. i've had mine over 70mph's downhill.

i think its funny to hear how people say their 300ex is fast and hits 70 downhills... the rev limiter wont let you.. it will kick in and just start slowing you down. i have an unlimited rev limiter with a different ignition curve and 18's with 14/38 gearing. and i seriously doubt i could hit 50

I didn't say nothing in that post about being fast. u can't go but 50 with 18 inch tires thats why. and when i went downhill it had stock 22 inch tires thats why it got goin that fast.

my friend tried to tell me his stock blaster did 70:rolleyes: i told him my 400 must do 85 becuase i blew by him on the road like he was standing still while he was topped out:p

(I dont really think my 400ex does 85)

A stock 300ex will do good at 52-54mph on a flat road.
