jet kit and filter

yesterday i put in my kandn filter and jet kit from rockymountain atv. installation wasnt hard i didnt the filter myself my dad helped a little bit with the jet kit...i hear a lot of problems with ppls jetkits how they have to adjust it a lot but with mine it worked first try.

for the results?
i was very satisfied, the 250ex seemed to pull harder and wheelied easier, and like kandn clains throttle response was snappier. i was very please with my purchase.

all this for only 80 bucks with is a big savings considering if i bought it from a dealer it wouldve cost me over 110. i recommend the jet kit combined w/ the filter. All i need now is a good pipe...any suggestions???

the jets might seem to work good, but if you want you should try to dial it in to make it run harder:devil: and if you dont know you will have to rejet when you get a pipe

yea ur rite i wuld have to rejet w/ a pipe, unless i get HMF they say to keep stock jetting...all the pipes i know of for my pipe are:

1 big gun
2 hmf
3 FMF
4 Bills pipes
5 Pro circuit
6 Duncan racing
7 white brothers

and thats all i know of, wut one do u think wuld give me the most acceleration and low range gains?

suggestions welcome, does ne one have expericence with these pipes?

the problem with the 250ex is that your allways going to be looking for more power...stop dumping money into it and get a used 400ex and learn how to use the clutch once you mastered the 400 you might want to move up to the 450r,yfz450,or Banshee:cool:

Yea... I have a fatboy from duncan on my 450r. It makes a little noise but I LUV the full pipe. Duncan gives a liffetime warranty with the pipe and you can call them tue-fri for tech support questions. They have a web site with the pho #s to call. You tell them what mods you already have when ordering your pipe and they will send you the right jetting with it.

shee rider..u think i want to ride the 250ex over the 400ex?

trust me i wuld ride the 400 anyday over my quad the only problem is im only 15 and dont have much money...

and then im around that age when i should be saving for my license,car,insurence and all that bs... so i cant get a bigger quad...so i just wanna add a pipe.
