Help!!!!!

my 400ex is makin a very weird noise from the headers area... like a chook chook sound when it is trying to start and when running and u give it gas.. i cant figure out whats wrong. Can someone help me!!!!!!!!!

Put a screwdriver up to your engine, then put your ear the the screwdriver knob. It should help you determine where exactly the knocking is comming from. My guess would your valves need to be adjusted.
