more power 4 my 250

I want a little more power and accelleration for my 250x. I always watch car shows such as HorsePower TV and stuff, and I was wondering if there is a new ignition or carb or something to make my engine a little more powerful. What are some parts to make my 250 faster, that are affordable (less then 100$)? I already have a Barnett clutch and K&N power filter. Thanks.

you could possibly re-jet,get a slip-on exhaust and maybe some rear tires(holeshots,razrs or klaws) and maybe even a high-performance cam.i have heard of people putting a 400ex carb on a 250x using a 350x air boot.you can get a stock 400ex carb off ebay for fairly cheap($40)
