Thanks! I just picked it up about 4 months ago. I had a 250R that I sold and put all the parts from it ver to the 400ex. I have about 3000.00 Plus the cost of the quad. hey seven can ya tell me what that front hood is, like what is it on the stock 400ex like when i get it brand new is there a spot where the hood for it is attached to the lights so then i can put the hood in or do i have to cut out the spot where the 250r hood needs to go in or what cause i might be gettin an 03 400 and wanna start doin some mod's to it :devil:

You have to cut your light mounts out to run that hood on a 400ex. I was thinking about getting some of the small lights and mount them under the plastic but I dont think I would ever use them. I got that hood from ebay for 60$. Its a fiberglass hood not a carbon fiber.

damn cause i dk if i can cut aything or take anything off since it's an 03 and it'll still be under warranty and if i take any thing off of it i will have to void the warranty, well thanks for givin me the info and i will be sure to try to get a good hood in there...what i'll do it order a set of plastic with the lights in it and then one set that's already on there i'll just cut the fenders to fit that, thanks for the info and keep in touch if ya want just pm me or talk to me on aol my sn is birddog922002

Lol where are you from cause i know that place it looks exactly like a place near where i am i am way up like 2 hours north of syracuse, ny a place called glenfield near boonville the snow mobile capital of ny that looks like it's in lyons falls like 15 minutes from my house, get back at me nice by the way mine's gonna be yellow and i'm gonna get a slip on t-4 and a set a red plastic:)
