400ex gasket mods

I have been read the post about not using a base gasket and using only one layer of the gasket on the head. Someone mentioned the cam timing. Do you have to doing anything with this timing or just do the gasket mods and put it back to gether.

you need to make sure you time the bike correctly. just follow a service manual and you will be just fine. you would put the bike back together the same way whether you ran stock gaskets or no gaskets.

however, running no gaskets will lower everything a bit so will change a very very slight amount but nothing noticable. everything goes back together the same way.
