11:1 wiseco piston

I am putting an 11:1 wiseco piston in my 400ex. It is still the stock bore. I already have a hot cams stage 1 in itt with some port and polish, My motor seemed like it dogged with the stock piston and Hotcam combo. Does this sound like an ok combo? Also, what octane should i be running with this piston? Also, should the octane be different for break in?

You should just go on ahead and bore it to a 406 or mabey a 416 It should'nt cost more than 60 bucks to get your sleave bored.

the stock bore will do fine, unless it needs cleaned up. id save the bores and the money to get them done until you need them

i run a 50/50 mix of race fuel and premium, and it works fine

about the dogging, you got me. its prob. in your jetting.
