I just picked up a used set of Ohlins front shocks for my 250r, they are valved for 170lb, +2 a-arms. I run stock a-arms, how much of a difference will this make? Will I need to have them revalved, if I do, where should I send them? How much will it cost? Thanks

You should be able to get by with those. Having those set up on you stock arms will just make them a bit stiffer. You wont be getting the maximum performance as far as plushness, but you definitely will have more bottoming resistance and they will be alot better than stock. I'm not sure how adjustable those ohlins are, but you should be able to soften them up some with your clicker if they have them. If not, just ride them how they are and get them set up right if you want when you get around to it. Overall you should be fine man....

Santo does great work from what I hear, lots of people are really satisfied with it. Im just saying Pro Action because I know they have been doing Ohlins for years now, just like someone posted earlier. Ive seen a couple MX banshees at the track with ohlins done by pro action as well as a couple 250r's. Actually, most of the ohlins I see are Pro action. You could go ahead and go through santo like I said and he should do a great job if you want to. I'm just telling you what I've seen alot at the track thats all...

Just looked up pro action, they have good prices on the revavle, and they are about a 2 hour drive.
