oil weights?

I bought a pair of used Works tripple rates a while back and I'm thinking about having them serviced. My question is this: If I go with a heavier weight oil, will I notice a difference in dampening? The spring rate feels pretty good, but the dampening seems a little light. Before I spend a bunch of cash to revalve, I thought I would experiment with this first. Please, no "buy different shocks" comments, unless you have an extra $600 I can have.

I had the same prob. with a pair of low line peps and added thicker oil and that helped quite a bit so i would say go ahead and try it and see.

Thanks. They're not leaking, but I'm sure they're due for a service, so I'll give it a shot. What range of weights do you usually run in atv shocks?
