grinding noise

when my 400ex gets up to a certain rpm it makes a grinding noise. it only makes the noise at a certain rpm and once it is past that rpm the noise stops. it just started making the noise all of a sudden. please help

where is the noise coming from? could be it be the chain and/or sprockets?
