View Full Version : Broken Subframe Bolts

Be sure to check your top subframe bolts- we have seen 5 broken bolts -2 were on the same bike at the same time! culd have been a serious problem if not caught in time!!

Thanks for the warning. Im glad its just a bolt, and not something more serious.

yea i broken both upper ones and one lower one while i was riding.i wasnt even jumping

Hey brent, my bolts are fine. Are you sure this isnt whats causing the bolt failures?

Was doing a search to see how big of an issue this is. I lost one bolt and snapped the other. Needless to say, the carb then pulled loose from the engine when the subframe hinged downward on the two lower subframe bolts.

So, I got new bolts installed about 4 months ago. I bought a set of spares. A guy was riding at BPG and broke his so I gave him my spare set. I bought another set. Noticed that one of mine is broken again.
