Hi guys,
I bought a used Clarke 5.5 gallon tank. It came with no mounting hardware except for 2 bolts with hooks attached to them on the very rear/bottom of the tank in the area where the stock black side panels used to screw into the frame. My question, do the hooks go into the holes on the frame (not the screw holes but another set of holes in that area)? If so, I will have to bend them. They sort of hold the back of the tank down now but with a little play because they bang into part of the frame that juts out. Nice tank but the fit is a little sloppy (around the fenders, also where the front fender plastic tabs (3 on each side) go into the tank, also where there is now a gap between the bottom rear of the tank and rear fender, etc).
For what I paid for it, I should not complain because it's in new condition and I got it for a song. Let me know about the mounting in the back with the hooks and thanks!!
