riding boot questions

I think I need some I have been racing and riding without them for a long time but dont know how much longer it will be before i break an ankle because I have hiking boots on. I have a few questions. Im most likly going with alpinestar but which one? I have a very skinny foot I wear 12 AA and my foot slides out of alot of shoes. What are some skinny riding boots? or will they all colapse down? I was thinking of either the vector or the tech6s, or 8s. Whats the big differences between the vectors, tech 6, and tech 8?

how do you size boots, are they about like hunting boots or tennis shoes? and all boot sizes the same like between a Alpinestar and a fox or thor?

genrally, i tend to go a 1/2 size bigger with my riding boots as compared to my tennis shoes.

Alpinstars tend to be skinnier. those should do you well.

but since i started wearing AXO RC5's, i haven't found the need to switch to any other boot. but every foot is different, your best bet is to go to your local MX shop and try different ones on.

I love my alpinestars tech 6's, Ive worn them for 3 years and cant find a thing wrong with em. Theyre not even too hard to walk in.

YOU SHOULD TRY THEM ON FIRST I DID'T LIKE THE TECH 8 TOO BIG FOR MY SKINNY LEG

I wear the Tech 4's, atv sole. I also ordered the same size as my shoes and the boots fit just fine.

Alpinestars are the best boots I have ever wore bar none!;)

I had Tech 8s... they were really stiff, I couldn't break them in no matter what I did. I finally sold them and bought a pair of AXO Offroad boots. They're a lot better than the Tech 8s for Motocross.

I AGREE WITH QUAD RACER 7 BUT I HAVE THE FOX BOOTS THEY FEEL GOOD YOU CAN LEAVE THEM ON ALL DAY THEY CLEAN GOOD TOO

I had a set of T-20s for a while too... if I didn't need new boots I would have kept them. My T-20s worked great, easy movement... but still had protection. I sold em on eBay because they were ripped though, had pics of the rip and even said in the description... so no one yell at me for that. lol
