Who is going? I will be there with camera in hand! I never seem to get to meet anyone from this site, Soooooo this year I got "THE SHIRT" to wear to the races (my Exriders shirt).:cool:

He is a cuz of yours and had the nerve to get married on the day of THE WISP!:huh :eek2: At least the ceremoy could be at the wisp, so we could all attend the reception after the race, we like free beer too!:D ;)

Yeah I will probably need a few days off....I have to work the Budds Creek MX national the weekend before and then we are doing all kinds of various stuff the week leading into Wisp with some magazines and a TV show in the blackwater and deep creek areas. Then we have various different things scheduled that weekend with a dealer showcase Sat night and hospitality Sun and I almost forgot Golf on Friday! Then I leave for CA on Mon.
But heck its a fun job and I get to meet people like you.

Im trying to figure out what to do to prep this utility quad...Im thinking winch, plow, etc.....what do I need to do to run with Penland? Its going to be fun!

you need some tire balls lol when i ran wisp that was the pnly problem i had. was running good then got a flat and messed my wrist up and couldnt really ride hard after that. im gonna try to make it doubt i can though since i just took a week off from work

Not slower than the LT, just you were a little skeered to open it up to where it runs.....YFZ's don't make peak horsepower at 4,000 rpm......:p

I am not sure if I will be there or not. My motor went "poofffff" on lap 3, I was running 4th pinned and the rear wheels locked up and about threw me over the bars. Not sure what is wrong with it yet.

The best thing to accessorize the quad with for the Wisp, without a doubt is tireballs. Last year, I ran back and forth from the scoring tent to the pavement to tell Bryan's dad which side he had a flat on. EVERY LAP!!!!
Thank goodness I bought that boy some tireballs for this year!

yeah, it is easy to smell melting plastic from a distance and the smoke is incredible. I had the chance to watch Pappy roost his utensils at VA:eek: He prefers them well done with a melted aluminium foil topping :cool:

Yes, you can park along the track in the pit area. The track is pretty fast with some good hills and rocks. It is a good idea to bring spare wheels and tires.

bring plenty of tires and good skid plates and youll still prolly need more tires. when i went you could park on a slop the the track ran on right next to where you ride. dont know how the tracks gonna be this year besides i know its gonna be rocky
