Does any one have one? If you do what is the jet do you have to run with the stock pipe? Do you need to move the clip?

Does the aluminum peace that holds the filter in place have a gasket?

The reason I ask is that I’m gong to make one. You can get the filters for $15.00 and the kit for a lot more $70 - $90.

I used one on my old 300ex. It worked fine. I bought the "assembled" one... but, if I could go back, I would have just bought the kit and converted the stock lid. If you have the tools and confidence... convert your stock one with their kit. Plus, the owner, Eric ( i believe that's what his name is) is pretty cool.

I don't remember if there is a gasket around the metal frame....

The one one my 400 didn't have a gasket under the aluminum. I cut up an old innertube and put that inbetween. Otherwise there is a tiny gap.

Yes there is a rubber gasket/spacer between the outerwear and the lid it self. Do a search in the 450r section and use my name and you'll find some pics.......
