A friend of mine recently purchased a non-running cannibal. When he hooks it up to a computer and runs the diagnostics, it says that it's missing the MIL? Does anyone know what this is? Thanks.

MIL Lamp open or short failure happens everytime you run diagnostic...it is looking for the GP Map Select Kit, an option which you can add to the bike, very few ever got sold or installed. It is an acceptable error, no problems if you see that. just a false alarm.


Any other errors though?

Thanks for the reply Ranger. The MIL lamp is the only thing that pops up on the diagnostic report. It turns over when you try to start it, it just won't fire.

Check you compression. If its good then you are probobly out of time.
