the 450 stroker results

i need to find a dyno cause i know this motor rips. pulled the holeshot on trx 450s, yfz, yz426 powered quad and canondales in both motos this weekend. this motors amazingly powerful with a super smooth powerband. it can be easily lugged around corners in 3rd and never stalls.

Where are you at? I would like to see what yours puts on a dyno beacuse my motor is gonna be set up about like yours.

i am in northwest indiana. the best thing is it still has the stock cam shaft so if i ever get an aftermarket who knows what it will do. I haven't gotten a aftermarket camyet cause i figured i just wanted the motor together cause it was taking forever and i wanted to ride the quad. now i am spending on having all my shocks rebuilt and tires and rims but i am really happy with how it is now. I was gonna get a tc cam but i want to keep my stocker just incas i don't like his.

don't take this as braggin i just know that strokers have been a popular topic lately. i just wanna say that the 400ex can still hang with the new boys.

i think my motor could be built easily for about 1000 dollars with out the exhaust and such.

I know how it is with the waiting part. I'm working on buying another motor right now to get me through till its done. There are a couple of quad dynoes witihn 40 miles of here in north cenral ohio.

gthunder has a dyno, he's about 70 miles east of columbus ohio

i have been told there are a few in the chicagoland area but never a solid answer where. i know this has to be pushing high 40's

I'm about 6 hours from chicago and gt thunder is about a 1/2 hour east from here if that helps you decide how far it would be to drive.

Dynoedge in Michigan has a nice Dyno set up. I was just over there yesterday and they were saying how they wanted to see what a 465 would do on it. Their website is in my sig. It shouldn't be to far. Heck there was two guys that frove up from Alambama to talk to them yesterday!! :eek2:

nah, the badlands isn't to bad. Only time we've had anyone break there is when we were doing really stupid stuff that we shouldn't have been doing. That place just seems to make you want to do stupid stuff though :devil:
