Had the best time on Saturday 6/12. Left home around 4:30 am. Drove through the nastiest wheather I've seen in awhile. Anyway, we get into Attica @ about 7:45, rain completely stop's and the sun come's out. First one's in line @ the gate, about 8:20 a FEW truck's start rolling in, mostly rock crawlers and only a small number of quads.

9:00 am the gate open's and the dude say's "man we've had 10" of ran in 2 day's, gonna be nasty".

Get my flag and pay my money, head down to the lower parking lot, unload, take off and begin our day.

We hit everything that we could get to that was'nt flooded, which was'nt much. Road the dune's, the trail's, the bowl's O M G... had an absolute blast .
Maybe a total of 40 quad's and maybe 10 bike's....

Basically had the run of the place, I think I yielded the right of way maybe 2 time's...

Anyway, had a great time..

Anyone else down there on Saturday?

I would have liked to rode with you guys, but had a problem, my brake rotor got bent and front brakes didn't work real well after that.

I could hear you guys back there in the woods while I was sitting there waiting for somebody to bring me some tools. It sounded like you were going quite well back in there.
The shamrocks came out well. Took a bunch of polishing, and with the red rings they look real nice.
Hopefully we go again soon, might try Haspin next time though. The woods were mostly muddy though, which sucked.

we try-we aint fast -just have home track advantage-ridin there 2 -3 times a week there helps figuring out the trails
haspin aint been there this year -were up for it -if you let slow people go-let me no when and where
this weekend-my buds wussed out so ohio aint lookin good
mud thats good pratice -and better crashes:D
makes climbing some them hills suck thow

Haspin would be a few weeks. My neighbor said something about going to the Badlands again this Sunday, but even if he did I can't go because I am waiting on new brake rotors, and bottom joint for my a-arms.

pairanutz

waiting sucks-but caint ride every weekend then you wouldnt have anything to look forward too
what rotors did you get ?

Dave400ex

I just bought a set of used stockers off Muff for now. Those Galfer Wave rotors are awesome looking though. I am sick of waiting on stuff, last weekend was really the first ride in over 6 months. It had been torn down for a complete rebuild. That's why everything look all nice and shinny, it was new. Badlands put a lot of scratches and chips in my PC all ready though.

pairanutz
07-09-2004, 10:10 PM
i got braking on mine
ya -i no the feeling on chips- my looks like $^&!
all new in january -3 gncc and 20+ time to badlands plus we have 5 private courses that we ride on
mine looks like its been thru hell
oh well thats what the made for -i think

Dave400ex

My frame is actually in pretty good shape, just in places I knew it would wear down. The biggest thing is I can't believe how well mud shows on the red. That's going to be a pain to keep clean and looking nice. My footpegs and bottom arms are pretty beat all ready though.

pairanutz
07-09-2004, 10:19 PM
front of my a-arms and the sides of the frame is where mine is the worst
roll design pegs hold up well
my plastic is ziped tied and so scratched and faded i like it mud covered it looks better

Dave400ex
07-09-2004, 10:26 PM
I want to get some AC Pro-pegs. I would also like to get some Silver fullbore plastic. That would look nice with the red frame.

pairanutz
07-09-2004, 10:31 PM
i got a set-ac propegs new never ridin on -they have been mounted but not rode on -they are the new ac with one peice foot pegs-nerfs and heel guards-$190 +shipping or pick up
i like the silver too-would look good on my black frame with silvervein swing-and a-arms-with a carbon fib hood
