Best Race outfit

getting into racing and i was wondering what the best set up would be. i was looking for freestylish stuff but i will go for just reg. race stuff. also i was looking for the cheapest stuff (just bought an ex no money). give me any ideas and the sites that have it the cheapest.

ok.....KNOW your sizes and buy off of EBAY!!! I got 3 pairs of FOX 360 pants from '03, with only one of them being worn ever, 2 NEVER for 120 bucks!!! They were mint and spotless, and I also found matching jerseys for cheap. I am a big supporter of ebay for cutting the cost of ATV parts when ever possible....

I wear the Shift 04 Mach gear in Orange Camo, along with Alpinestars Vector boots, and I love my M2R helmet

been wearing thor since day 1 but it isnt the cheapest gear around. just ordered new AC gear about a month ago, the pants alone were 150, jersey was about 40 and gloves i think were 20 something. i love thor though, very comfortable and the AC is even nicer. it isnt the cheapest but if you know your size like the one guy said go look on ebay and you can get A LOT of stuff for cheap...later

All I wear is Shift Recon gear. I like having my pants come over my boots (no crap can get in from the top when riding/racing;) )

I got Shift everything, HJC helmet, Oakley and Scott goggles. All is either red or yellow in color.:)

Which ever is on sale is what i buy....:o

Look in the close-out sections of rocky mountain and bobscycle and you'll get a full outfit for the same price as a current relaesed pair of pants...:rolleyes:

But you might not match and people will make fun of you at the races like they do me.....:mad:

lol yeah you can get last years top of the line pants and jersey for the price of this years lowest price pair of pants. oh btw rico i was riding at eastview two weeks ago went for the stepdown on the third lap cased it got tossed off and broke my foot, not at all good:( but if you havent been there in a while id suggest going they have alot of new jumps there as well as what appeared to be a triple after the stepdown but im not too sure i was a lil dizzy when i was ridin back to the truck on the utility quad while the driver almost flipped us :rolleyes:

i found the fox jersey on ebay for 9.99 with 4 days left so i hope it doesn't get too expensive........toby400EX do you like your stuff for racing....i think i will cause i like the freestyle look.
